Invent a Time Day

Does Anybody Really Know?

I was wondering the other day...When did time - down to the minute - first become so important?

In (New Testament) biblical times, they were concerned with hours, but the Bible never mentions "minute".

That does mean no one at that time was concerned about minutes, but I have the feeling they became more important later - like when industry became a thing.

Today you get to invent a new time. You can go about this a number of ways.

You can create more hours in the day. People are always complaining there aren't enough, so you'd be doing a lot of people a big favor.

You can invent a more generic, activity-related time like "party time" or "game time". It would make sense to name your time for something you really like - maybe "broccoli time" or "It's a Wonderful Life time" or "dig in the garden time" or "drive to Topeka time". The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

You may come up with other ways to invent a time. Take some time to make some time today.
