What to Do with a Table Top
Table Top Awareness Day on its surface (pun intended) is all about recognizing table tops. You need to know where they are so that your actions in relation to them don't endanger their existence.
Most table tops are pretty obvious, so I'm not real sure why this day exists. But it is what it is.
If you think that what you're doing might do harm to a table top, just stop.
One thing I know of that does not harm table tops - physically, emotionally, or psychologically - is playing games on them.
You can play board games, card games (preferably on a card table top), pool, party games, strategy games, dexterity games (some of these categories overlap), or any type of game you like on them.
You do have to be a little careful if you drink while playing games on a table top (or play a drinking game there). Try not to spill what you're drinking so the finish on the table top and the bit of your game come to no harm.
Other than that, have a good time being aware of table tops and playing with them.
