Pout Day

Because Starting Tomorrow You Better Not

On Pout Day, you can pout all you want, whether you have a reason to or not. Get it all out in one day so you don't feel the need to do it any other day.

It doesn't matter whether you employ the lower-lip pout, the crossed-arms-and-droopy-face pout, or the lock-yourself-in-your-room pout. All are acceptable.

As hinted at above, you really don't want to pout in December. I've always considered that to be the special time when "You better not pout. You better not cry." applies.

It seems that that's the reason that Pout Day occurs on November 30, just before that special time starts.

Is pouting learned or is it natural? Especially the lower-lip kind.

If it's natural, why is sticking out your lower lip part of the attitude?

This is probably one of those things that would have to be studied for 20 years using taxpayer money.

Let me know if the study has already been done.
