Will You Wake Up at the Usual Time?
This is Silence Your Alarm Clock Week. As I understand it, you have two options for celebrating this week.
- You can turn off your morning wakeup call completely.
- You can hit the snooze button (or equivalent) one or more times each morning.
If you select option #1, the question is (as given above) whether you will wake up at the same time you normally do anyway.
You probably will. If you wake up with the help of an alarm each work day, your body's inner clock is probably so tuned to waking up at that time of day that it will continue to get you going even if there's no external noise helping things along.
If you're afraid to try this method, I understand. Maybe wait until Saturday this year, turn off the alarm, and see what happens. This assumes you don't stay up Friday night into the wee hours of the morning.
If you choose option #2, well, be honest, you already do this just about every day, don't you? While this wouldn't be much of a change for you then, it apparently still counts for celebrating this special week. Woo. Hoo.
If you have an alarm clock like the one shown, I want to hear about it.
