Will It Stick?
For Hang Something on the Wall Day, you probably think of a standard framed picture first. And that would be fine.
But it doesn't have to be a picture, and it doesn't even have to be in a frame.
You could put some of the artwork that you usually attach to your refrigerator with a magnet up on the wall instead. You might keep it there just for today, or you might decide just to leave it there permanently. That would give you more space on your refrigerator.
These days, when hanging something on the wall, you don't even have to use a hammer and a nail. There are hanging materials that use velcro and super sticky tape so you don't have to pound holes in your walls. This actually works quite well, if you put things together properly.
For those with more eclectic (i.e. weird) tastes, you can hang non-standard objects on the wall too. Maybe that sock whose mate has run off never to be found again. Maybe a package of jelly beans - open or not. Maybe an extension cord. That one could actually be kind of useful from time to time. So would the jelly beans.
Whatever you hang on the wall today, make sure it doesn't fall off. We don't want anyone passing by to get hurt.
Be careful out there.
