Automobile Awareness Day deserves some attention, especially if you're a pedestrian.
What makes being aware of automobiles a little more difficult these days is those silent-running, electric (or hybrid) types. When they're moving slow enough, you can't hear a sound coming from them. You have to use your eyes, not your ears, to be aware of them.
Pretty soon, probably sooner than you think, all automobiles will be aware of each other and hopefully the rest of their surroundings too. At that time, Automobile Awareness Day should probably cease to exist.
The only awareness involved then will be knowing when you're supposed to get in or out of the car.
"What about awareness of truck, motorcycles, and other means of road transportation?" you ask.
I was afraid you might think of those. They're not covered under Automobile Awareness Day. They'll each need a special day of their own.
Maybe you can setup a special for them on your own. It's really not hard to do.
