Think, Crayola
This is the beginning of Invention Week. Each day and for the following six days, you have the opportunity to invent something special without working at it too hard.
This year (2016), Invention Week happens to start on a Sunday and end on a Saturday. In case it matters to you (though I can't imagine why it would), the week won't fall on those days for the next several years. Just sayin', even though, again, I don't know why.
Today is Invent a Color Day. Crayola has had contests for creating new crayon names. This is kind of like that.
You just come up with a new name, which might be harder than you think, and start calling things that you determine are that color by that name.
What could make it difficult, is not only Crayola but all the paint companies out there. If you've ever bought paint, you know what I mean.
I suppose Arkansas Sky Blue is more appealing than Blue #73, but sometimes I wonder.
Is Dog Paw Brown better than Dark Off Brown? What about Orangish Orange or Orangish Violet?
You be the judge.
What color will you dream up today? And what will you apply it to?
