73 Is the Funniest Number Day is really more a statement of fact than anything else. You can still celebrate it by using the number 73 whenever possible - or whenever impossible.
Odd numbers are funnier than even numbers. 73 has that going for it with both digits.

A funny number should not be too large. Numbers with 3 digits or more (except maybe numbers with 73 digits) start to get too big very quickly.
Too digit numbers seem to be the funniest. Most people can grasp that amount of something. Yet those numbers between 50 and 100 are just big enough to make people wonder how many that really is.
So what about 53 or 97 or 71 and the like? For some reason, they just don't sound as funny as 73 in a punch line. Try some of them, and I think you'll agree.
73 just has that intangible that other numbers lack. So give 73 a whirl today, even when it might 73 fit into the con73rsation.
