Take a Vacation First
People most often use the word recover in the sense of a recovery. It's not very often that it's used in the sense of needing to cover something again.
On Recover Day, you can use it in either sense. Make sense?
If you need ideas for what you can cover again, check out yesterday's post.
To recover as in a recovery, you can (as suggested above) take a vacation and then come back home and recover from it. Weird, right? We must be doing vacations wrong if that's the case.
You can recover from an illness.
You can recover a loss. It might be a monetary or other physical property loss.
If you lose some weight, don't try to recover that.
When you use the word lose, don't confuse it with the word loose. You might have to recover from your mistake.
