Spitting into the wind is usually a stupid thing to do. That, of course, is why people say you shouldn't do it. You'll get all wet and sloppy.
However, if done properly, you can spit into the wind and not feel any of those common effects.
Spitting into the wind at either a really high or a really low angle should keep you safe and dry.
If you can manage either of those possibilities, the only question that remains is this: Can you put that spittle to good use?
That is, can you aim your shot so that it lands in an advantageous place?
Admit it. Sometimes you use your spit to clean things. So can you perform this into the wind action so that something that needs cleaning gets hit?
It may take a few attempts, but I bet you can do it.
Maybe you can practice somewhere first where your target doesn't really matter. Then, when you're ready, you can go after the real target that needs a little spit shine.
