Your Name Need Not Be Linus
At first blush, you might think that Carry a Blanket Day is the same as yesterday's Carry a Towel Day.
That couldn't be further from the truth.
Blankets and towels have virtually nothing in common. Sure, they're made of cloth and are usually rectangular, but that's where the similarities, if you can call them that, end.
A blanket is for warmth. A towel is for drying.
A blanket is rather large, especially the kind covering a king size bed. A towel you can hang just about anywhere, and it won't touch the floor.
So the blanket you carry around with you today should probably not be king size, unless you want suspicions raised. If you carry one about the relative size of the one that Charlie Brown's friend Linus carried, you should be okay.
Being able to recite Luke 2 (KJV and NIV are both acceptable) is a definite plus today.
Sucking your thumb is optional.
