Look Out Below!
Climb onto the Roof Day probably has its origins in decorating your house with Christmas lights.
I used to do that for our house, but I gave up after a few years because our roof is so difficult to get onto. It was also usually cold and dark by the time I was able to get up there.
Climbing onto the roof no longer has to be about Christmas lights though.
You can climb up there just for fun or even just to get away from everything else for a while.
There's also this proverb:
Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.
To be clear, most roofs back in the day that proverb was written were flat.
Merry Christmas.
