Set an Alarm Clock to a Different Time Day

Time to Wake Up

These days everyone has an alarm clock. Yours might not be the classic, analog type with a clock face and a pair of bells on top. It might look more like a radio. It might be your cell phone.

In any case, you have a gadget with a clock built in and an alarm that you can set.

If you already have an alarm set to a certain time, Set an Alarm Clock to a Different Time Day is the time/day to change it. If you don't have the alarm set, then setting it counts as changing it.

For those who already have the alarm set, you can change it by as much or as little as you like - one minute or several hours.

This reminds me of a prank someone, who shall remain nameless, pulled while in college.

He set his alarm to a very-early-in-the-morning time one day. His roommate didn't own an alarm, so he depended on this one alarm to get up for breakfast.

When the alarm went off, the alarm owner got up and shut it off and made sure his roommate was getting up to go to breakfast. When his roommate left the building to go to the cafeteria, he changed the alarm and went back to bed.

The roommate found a locked cafeteria and came back to bed assuming that he'd maybe dreamt the wake-up call.

Later, when the alarm went off again, both of them got up as usual. The roommate was confused but none the wiser.

He didn't miss breakfast.
